Test No. 6, Mirror Control Input Test (Ninety Eight)

  1. Disconnect memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . With left mirror selected, move power mirror switch to down position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal D11 (Light Blue wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor connection, open, or short to ground in Light Blue or Orange wire. If circuits are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  2. With left mirror selected, move power mirror switch to right position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal D7 (White wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open or short to ground in White wire. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If circuit and connections are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  3. With right mirror selected, move power mirror switch to down position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal C4 (Gray wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open or short to ground in Gray wire. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If circuits and connections are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  4. With right mirror selected, move power mirror switch to right position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal D6 (Red/White wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open or short to ground in Red/White wire. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If circuits and connections are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  5. Move power mirror switch to up position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal C6 (Brown/White wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open or short to ground in Brown/White wire. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If circuits and connections are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  6. Move power mirror switch to left position. Connect test light between memory seat/memory mirror control module connector C2 harness terminal D6 (Light Blue wire) and ground. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for open or short to ground in Light Blue wire. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If circuits and connections are okay, replace power mirror switch.
  7. Check for poor connections at memory seat/memory mirror control module. If connections are okay, replace memory seat/memory mirror control module.
