Connect jumper wire between alarm module connector C1 terminal "N" (Brown wire) and battery voltage. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If power door locks unlock when jumper is connected, go to next step. If power door locks do not unlock when jumper is disconnected, repair open circuit in Brown wire.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Position gear selector lever in Drive position. Check voltage between alarm module connector C1 terminal "J" (Orange/Black wire) and battery voltage. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage is present, check Orange/Black wire for short to ground. If wire is okay, replace transaxle range switch.
- Repeat step 2) with gear selector in Park. If battery voltage is not present, replace multifunction alarm module. If battery voltage is present, check for open in Orange/Black and Black/White wires. If wiring is okay, check transaxle range switch adjustment. If adjustment is okay, replace transaxle range switch.
