Description & Operation: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Oldsmobile Regency. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For additional information about power seats, see SEATS - POWER article. For additional information about power mirrors, see MIRRORS - POWER article.

The memory system includes driver's memory seat and mirrors that can be set in 2 preset positions when gearshift is in Park. The memory seat/mirror module controls movement of 4 driver's seat position motors, 2 left mirror motors and 2 right mirror motors. All motors have a position sensor, and work independently of each other. When DRIVER-1 and DRIVER-2 buttons are pushed simultaneously when ignition is off, seat will move fully down and back to allow for easy exit.
