Transmitter Programming

A Remote Door Lock Receiver may have up to four different transmitters programmed. You may program a transmitter to more than one vehicle providing the remote keyless entry systems are similar. When reprogramming one transmitter, reprogram any and all other transmitters (maximum of 4 total per receiver) at the same time in order for the other transmitters to work.

IMPORTANT: Leave a window down in the vehicle while reprogramming the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver system. This procedure will avoid an unintentional lock out if the reprogramming is not performed properly.

1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Ground the receiver program terminal. Jump the two terminals located in the program ground connector.
3. Within 2 seconds the door locks will lock. The Unlock and the Rear Compartment Lid Release will produce a cycle, causing the horn to chirp. This indicates that the module is ready for reprogramming.
4. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons at the same time until the door locks Lock and Unlock. The Rear Compartment Lid Release releases and the horn sounds indicating that the transmitter has successfully been reprogrammed (approximately 12 seconds).
5. Repeat the previous step for the remaining transmitters.
6. Remove the jumper at the program connector.
7. Verify the proper operation of each transmitter.
