DTC B0603: BCM Internal Memory Malfunction (Write Error): Testing
- Perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. Go to next step.
- Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check for BCM DTCs. If DTC B0603 resets as current, go to next step. If BCM DTC B0603 does not reset as current, go to step 4 .
- Replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform new BCM setup. See NEW BCM SETUP under PROGRAMMING. After reprogramming BCM, go to step 5 .
- Symptom is not present at this time. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS for additional diagnostic information.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reinstall all components and connectors. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Check for DTCs. If any DTCs are current, perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. If no DTCs are current, system is operating properly.
