Diagnostic Aids

Check for short to ground or open in Pink/White wire. DRL module may be shorted to ground or open internally. If DTC is set as history, problem may be intermittent. Perform test procedure while wiggling harness and connectors. DTC P1626 will set in PCM if ignition switch is turned to RUN position with BCM disconnected. After completing BCM diagnosis, go to appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE for additional information on PCM DTCs.
