BCM only checks for DTC B2805 when attempting to enter transmitter programming/diagnostic mode. Check that RCDLR or BCM do not have internal opens. If DTC is set as history, problem may be intermittent. Perform test procedure while wiggling harness and connectors. DTC P1626 will set in PCM if ignition switch is turned to RUN position with BCM disconnected.
