Test B: Abs Indicator Inoperative (Intrigue)

- Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, select INSTRUMENT PANEL SPECIAL FUNCTIONS. Attempt to turn ABS indicator on. If ABS indicator turns on, go to next step. If ABS indicator does not turn on, go to step 4 .
- Replace EBCM. See ELECTRONIC BRAKE CONTROL MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position Check ABS indicator bulb. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If ABS indicator bulb is okay, go to step 6 . If ABS bulb is not okay, go to next step.
- Replace ABS Indicator Bulb. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. After repairs, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
- Replace instrument panel cluster. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. After repairs, perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
