HVAC Control Module: Removal

Raise the front floor console armrest. Remove the screws from the front floor console trim plate. Open the front floor console cupholder. Pull up on the front floor console trim plate starting at the rear and working forward to release the retainer clips. Remove the traction control switch from the front floor console trim plate. Lift the front floor console trim plate up and over the transaxle shift lever. See Figure. Remove the front floor console trim plate from the front floor console.
Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. See Figure. Remove the screws from the HVAC control assembly. See Figure. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control assembly. Remove the HVAC control assembly from the instrument panel.
