Without Scan Tool

  1. Close all doors. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove ignition key from ignition switch. Press and hold driver door lock switch to UNLOCK position.
  2. Insert and remove ignition key twice (without turning lock cylinder). Insert ignition key a third time, leaving key in ignition in LOCK position. Release door lock switch. Body Control Module (BCM) will sound 3 chimes to verify program mode has been activated.
  3. Press and hold transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for about 15 seconds. BCM will sound 3 chimes to confirm programming of first transmitter
  4. Repeat previous step to program up to 4 transmitters. Remove ignition key. Operate transmitter functions to verify correct system operation.
