Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to AIR BAG MODULES in SIR.
  3. Remove the screws from the steering wheel control switch.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the steering wheel control switch.
  5. Remove the steering wheel control switch from the steering wheel.
