Coolant Temperature Sensor Test
- Remove coolant temperature sensor from intake manifold and dip end of sensor into water. Do not allow sensor to touch container. Terminal connector portion of sensor should be .12" (3 mm) above water.
- Gradually heat water and read resistance values at terminal connectors. Resistance should be as shown in COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE chart. If not, replace sensor.
