The computerized engine control system consists of 11 sub-systems: Fuel Control, Data Sensors and Switches, Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC), Ignition Control, Idle Speed Control, Emission Control, Lock-Up Torque Converter Solenoid, Cooling Fan Control, Charging System Control, Cruise Control, and On-Board Diagnostic System.
