Information Center Test 5B - Turn Signal Indicator Light

NOTE: Perform INFORMATION CENTER TEST 5A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. Access junction block internal 23-pin connector. Turn ignition on. Turn on right turn signal. Using test light, probe internal connector, terminal No. 21. If test light does not flash, repair or replace junction block. If test light flashes, go to next step.
  2. Turn on left turn signal. Using test light, probe internal connector, terminal No. 20. If test light does not flash, repair or replace junction block. If test light flashes, replace BCM.
