SKIM Message Not Received By MIC
- Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located on bottom of instrument panel, to left of brake pedal. See Figure. Go to next step.
- Using scan tool, select BODY, THEFT ALARM, then SKIM. If Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) responds, test is complete. If SKIM does not respond, perform BUS +/- SIGNAL OPEN FROM SKIM test under COMMUNICATIONS.
