Control Assembly: Service and Repair

LESS A/C

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel face plate.
3. Remove 4 screws securing control assembly, then withdraw control.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors and control cables, then remove control assembly, remove blower switch if nessary.
5. Reverse procedure to install.




WITH A/C



CELEBRITY, CENTURY, CIERA & 6000

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then disconnect temperature control cable.
2. After removing temperature control retaining screws, draw control unit out of dash and remove harness leads and vacuum lines.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
