1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Carefully discharge refrigerant from A/C system.
Loosen, then remove serpentine drive belt from pulleys.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Remove seven splash shield attaching bolts, then the splash shield.
5. Remove compressor bracket attaching bolts.
6. Mark, then disconnect all electrical connectors from compressor assembly.
7. Remove compressor mount attaching bolts, then the compressor assembly from bottom of vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
