Cylinder Head Bolts

In the sequence provided (refer to figure 6), tighten all bolts a little at a time, as follows:

^ Torque bolts to 18 ft. lbs.
^ Tighten bolts an additional 60°
^ Tighten bolts an additional 60°
^ Tighten bolts an additional 60°

After completion, start engine and let engine idle until thermostat opens. Turn engine off and torque all bolts as follows:

^ Tighten an additional 30 to 50°
