Notice: Before replacing the ISC motor the throttle lever screw and the throttle stop screw must be checked for evidence of tampering. Perform the following two inspections.
^ Open the throttle lever to the full open position and check that the yellow paint has not come off of the throttle lever screw.
^ Turn the resin cap of the throttle stop screw on the throttle body side with fingers and check that the entire cap is free from damage.
If any yellow paint has come off or if the resin cap is damaged, the SC motor cannot be replaced. Instead the throttle body assembly must be replaced as a unit.
