Engine Block Assemble (Unit Repair): Installation

Apply gasket paste Permatex® 56521 (or equivalent) to plug.
Install drain plug in water pump.
Install coolant jacket plugs.
Torque:

Cylinder Head Oil Gallery Plug: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)
Apply gasket paste Permatex® 56521 (or equivalent) to rear oil passage plugs.
Install rear oil passage plugs.
Torque:

Oil Gallery Plug (Rear): 60 N.m (44 ft-lbs)
Apply gasket paste Permatex® 56521 (or equivalent) to oil passage plug.
Install oil passage plugs.
Torque:

Oil Gallery Plug: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)

Install crankshaft position sensor and bolt.
Torque:

Crankshaft Position Sensor Bolt: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

Install oil pressure switch.
Torque:

Oil Pressure Switch: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

Install knock sensor and bolt.
Torque:

Knock Sensor Bolt: 25 N.m (18 ft-lbs)
