Driver Window Operation
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
When the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACCY position, or Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is enabled and the driver window switch is pressed in the down position, battery positive voltage is applied to the window motor causing the window to open. When the driver window switch is pressed in the up position, voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction and the window closes.
The driver window switch controls the front passenger window.
