Press and hold the season odometer reset for greater than 3 seconds. If the vehicle is in PARK the IPC will send a class 2 message to the BCM. Upon receipt of this class 2 message the IPC illuminates the program mode indicator in the message center. This indicator remains illuminated until the IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM to turn this indicator off or the IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating vehicle speed is present.
