Powertrain Control Module: Installation
- Install the connectors to the PCM. Tighten the PCM harness screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
.
- Install the PCM into the air cleaner assembly. See Fig 1
.
- Install the air cleaner assembly cover.
- Tighten the air cleaner assembly cover retainers.
- Install the left sheet metal diagonal brace.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- If a new PCM is being installed, program the EEPROM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
