Key Fob Eyelet Breaking (Replace Key Fob)

Condition

Some customers may comment that the eyelet has broken off the remote keyless entry (key fob).

Cause

There may be insufficient plastic thickness where the metal ring goes through the key fob.

Correction

Replace the remote keyless entry (key fob). Refer to the Parts Information below.

On the back of the key fob is the part number. Locate the part number in the first column and use the new part number listed in the second column.

Refer to the procedure in SI for programming the transmitter.
