Vehicle Identification Number

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), plate is the legal identifier of the vehicle. The VIN plate is located on the upper left side corner of the Instrument Panel (IP) and can be seen through the windshield from the outside of the vehicle.

The 8th digit of the VIN identifies engine installed in the vehicle. The 8th digit in VIN specifies RPO LS1, 5.7L, V8, MFI.
