Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 3.  This step determines if the driver door module (DDM) recognizes the lockout switch input from the driver door switch assembly (DDSA).
  2. 4.  This step determines if the indicator lamp on the window lockout switch button is operating properly. When the ignition key is first turned ON, the indicator lamp should not be illuminated. The indicator lamp should illuminate when the switch button is first pressed. The indicator lamp should go out if the switch button is pressed a second time.
