Installation Procedure

  1. If necessary, install the mobile telephone antenna to the base. Hand tighten the antenna until no visible gap appears between the antenna and the base.

  3. Route the antenna base lead through the roof.
  4. Align the antenna base to the roof with the locator pin.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Tighten the antenna base nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  7. Connect the antenna base lead.
  8. Install the headliner. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door in Interior Trim.
  9. Install the front dome lamp, if equipped.
  10. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead in Interior Trim.
  11. Install the sunroof opening trim bezel, if equipped. Refer to Sunroof Finishing Lace Replacement in Roof.
  12. Install the upper portion of the right front door weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door in Doors.
  13. Install the right sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  14. Install the garnish molding to the right windshield pillar. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
