Installation Procedure

  1. Position the accelerator pedal (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Accelerator Pedal

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the accelerator pedal bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Connect accelerator pedal electrical connector.
  5. Install the left instrument panel sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
