Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the generator rear bracket and bolt (2) to the engine.
Tighten: Tighten the generator rear mounting bolt to the engine (2) to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

Install the generator front bracket and bolt to the engine.
Tighten: Tighten the generator bracket bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement .
Install the accessory drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical-5.7L.
