Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bolt Tightening Sequence

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the EBCM to the brake pressure modulator valve. Secure with 6 new bolts in sequence shown.
Tighten: Tighten the EBCM bolts to 3 N.m (26.5 lb in).

Install the BPMV wiring to the retainer (3) on the EBCM.
Connect the BPMV motor wiring connector (2) to the electronic brake control module (1) (EBCM).
Install the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement .
