CRUISE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the cruise control cable.
2. Pull the tang on the wiring harness connector (3), then pull the connector from the cruise control module (1).
3. Remove the 3 cruise control module retaining screws (2).
4. Remove the cruise control module from the mounting bracket (4).

Installation Procedure





1. Position the cruise control module to the mounting bracket (4).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the 3 cruise control module retaining screws (2).

Tighten
Tighten the cruise control module retaining screws to 3.5 N.m (31 Ib in).

3. Push the connector to the cruise control module (1) until the tang on the wiring harness connector (3), locks in place.
4. Install the cruise control cable.
