Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

IMPORTANT: The KS threaded surfaces must be clean before installation.

Install the knock sensor.

Tighten: Tighten the knock sensor retaining bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Connect the knock sensor harness connector.
Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Engine Electrical.
