Test Description

The number below refers to the step number on the diagnostic table.

  1. 3:  This step inspects for incorrect installation of the yaw rate sensor.

1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information
2 Is U0073, U0123, U0124, or U0126 also set? Go to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC information Go to Step 3 
Inspect for incorrect installation of the yaw rate sensor.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 6  Go to Step 4

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with engine OFF.
  3. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
  4. Using the scan tool, perform yaw rate sensor calibration in the Special Functions menu.
  5. Read the DTCs.
Does the DTC reset?
Go to Step 5  Go to Step 6 
5 Replace the yaw rate sensor. Refer to Yaw Rate Sensor Replacement .
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 6  -

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC, as specified in the supporting text.
Does the DTC reset?
Go to Step 2  System OK
