Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
Remove the cruise control cable from the throttle body lever.
Remove the cruise control cable (1) from the bracket (2).

Remove accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.
Remove the accelerator cable (2) from the bracket (1).

Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.
Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket from the throttle body.
