Installation Procedure

  1. Position the amplifier in the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  2. Install two screws (7), securing the antenna amplifier to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the antenna amplifier screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  3. Connect three connectors (5, 4, 3), from the antenna amplifier module (6).
  4. Connect the AM antenna connector (2), and the FM antenna/demister connector (1), to the rear window connectors.
  5. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper in Interior Trim.
  6. Check for radio reception.
