Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear side door trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door .
- Pull back the water deflector to gain clearance to remove the rear door check link from the door.
- Remove the following components from the vehicle:
- The rear door check link to door jamb bolt (3)
- The 2 bolts (2) which secure the check link to the rear door
- The check link (1) through inner door panel access hole
