Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Electrical Connector, Air Cleaner Housing, Mass Air Flow (Maf) Sensor And O-Ring

  1. Install a new O-ring (3) on the MAF sensor.
  2. Install the MAF sensor (4) into the air cleaner housing (2).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Secure the MAF sensor to the air cleaner housing with the 2 fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the 2 fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector (1).
