5 Volt Reference 1 - Volts This parameter displays the voltage sensed on the 5 volt reference 1 at the engine control module.
5 Volt Reference 2 - Volts This parameter displays the voltage sensed on the 5 volt reference 2 circuit at the control module.
5 Volt Reference 1 Circuit Status - OK This parameter will display OK if the circuit is good or Fault if a short to ground, short to B+ or open circuit is present.

A/C High Side Pressure Sensor - 0 - 3,450 kPa This parameter displays the pressure from the A/C high side pressure sensor signal circuit to the control module.
A/C High Side Pressure Sensor - 0 - 5 Volts The scan tool displays 0-5 volts. This is the output of the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
A/C Pressure Disable - Yes The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes is displayed when the system pressure exceeds 3,034 kPa (440 psi).

A/C Relay Circuit Status - OK This parameter displays the status of the output driver for the A/C Relay control circuit. The scan tool will display OK if the circuit is operating correctly or Fault if a diagnosis has not been made.

A/C Relay Command - On The scan tool displays ON or OFF. ON is displayed when the ECM has energized the A/C compressor relay.

A/C Request Signal (Air Conditioning) - Yes The scan tool displays Yes or No. Yes is displayed when the HVAC control module is requesting A/C operation.

Air Flow Calculated - g/s This parameter displays the air flow of the engine as calculated by the engine control module using information from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. The scan tool will display a range of values indicating a high air flow when MAP pressure is high and a low air flow when MAP pressure is low. This value is listed in grams per second (g/s).
Ambient Air Temperature - °C This parameter displays the ambient, outside, air temperature as calculated by the engine control module.
APP Indicated Angle - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the angle of the accelerator pedal as calculated by the control module using the signals from the accelerator pedal position sensors. The accelerator pedal position (APP) indicated angle is a range of values indicating a low percentage when the accelerator pedal is not depressed to a high percentage when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
APP Sensors - Counts This parameter displays the average of the APP sensors as calculated by the throttle actuator control (TAC) module. The APP average is a range of values indicating a low number when the accelerator pedal is not depressed to a high number when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. This value is listed in counts.
APP Sensor 1 (Accelerator Pedal Position) - Volts This parameter displays the voltage signal sent to the control module from APP sensor 1 of the APP sensor assembly. APP sensor 1 is a range of values indicating a low voltage when the accelerator pedal is not depressed to a high voltage when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
APP Sensor 1 Indicated Position (Accelerator Pedal Position) - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the angle of the APP sensor 1 as calculated by the control module using the signal from the APP sensor 1. APP sensor 1 is a range of values indicating a low percentage when the accelerator pedal is not depressed to a high percentage when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
APP Sensor 2 (Accelerator Pedal Position) - Volts This parameter displays the voltage signal sent to the control module from APP sensor 1 of the APP sensor assembly. APP sensor 1 is a range of values indicating a low voltage when the accelerator pedal is not depressed to a high voltage when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
APP Sensor 2 Indicated Position (Accelerator Pedal Position) - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the angle of the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1 as calculated by the engine control module using the signal from the APP sensor 1. APP sensor 1 is a range of values indicating a low percentage when the accelerator pedal is not pressed to a high percentage when the accelerator pedal is fully pressed.
APP Sensors 1 and 2 - Agree This parameter displays the results of a control module test that compares the signals from the APP sensors 1 and 2. The scan tool will display Agree or Disagree. Agree indicates that APP sensor 1 and APP sensor 2 voltages correspond to the same accelerator pedal position. Disagree indicates that APP sensor 1 and APP sensor 2 voltages correspond to different accelerator pedal positions.

BARO (Barometric Pressure) - kPa This parameter displays the voltage signal received by the control module from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor measured when the ignition is turned on with the engine not running. The control module will update the barometric pressure during wide-open throttle (WOT) conditions. The scan tool will display a low value when the barometric pressure is low, and a high value when the barometric pressure is high.
BPP Circuit Signal - Applied This parameter displays the state of the brake pedal position circuit signal as determined by the brake pedal switch. The scan tool will display Applied when the brake pedal is depressed, and Released when the brake pedal is not depressed.

Calculated TWC Temperature Bank 2 - °C Calculated catalytic converter temperature
Catalytic Converter Protection - Active This parameter indicates the status of the control module control for catalytic converter protection. The scan tool will indicate Active if the control module is adjusting fuel and ignition quantity and timing to protect the catalytic converter from damage. The scan tool will indicate Inactive if the control module is in a normal fuel and ignition control mode.

Change Engine Oil Indicator Command - On This parameter displays a low engine oil life remaining and requires an oil change. This notice is calculated by the engine control module based on many inputs. The oil change symbol on indicates the next oil change will be required

CMP Active Counter - Counts This parameter displays an incrementing counter when the control module receives a signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor.
CMP Sensor - RPM This parameter displays the speed of the engine as calculated by the signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor
CKP Active Counter - Counts This parameter displays an incrementing counter when the engine control module receives a signal from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
CKP Resync Counter - Counts This parameter displays the number of times the engine control module re-syncs with the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
CKP Sensor - RPM This parameter displays the engine speed as calculated by the engine control module using the signal form the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
Cold Start Up - Yes This parameter indicates whether the engine meets the conditions for a cold start-up during the present ignition cycle. The scan tool displays Yes when the conditions for a cold start-up are met during this ignition cycle. The scan tool displays No when the conditions for a cold start-up are not met during the present ignition cycle. Conditions for a cold start-up require the coolant temperature and the intake air temperature to be below a predetermined temperature and within a certain range of each other. These conditions must occur after the engine was warmed up to a specific temperature during the previous ignition cycle.

CPP Switch (If equipped) - Applied This parameter displays the current state of the clutch pedal position as determined by the control module.

Crank Request Signal - Yes This parameter displays whether the ignition switch has been cycled to the crank position requesting the control module to activate the starter relay.

Cruise On/Off Switch - On This parameter displays the status of the cruise control system as determined by the engine control module. The scan tool will display On when the cruise control system is in control of vehicle speed. The scan tool will display Off when the cruise control system is not operating.

Cruise Control Active - Active This parameter displays the status of the cruise control system as determined by the engine control module. The scan tool will display Active when the cruise control system is in control of vehicle speed. The scan tool will display Inactive when the cruise control system is not operating.

Cruise Disengage 1st History - None The parameter displays the last 8 cruise control disengages in order from 1 to 8, with 8 being the most recent. There are about 33 possible causes for the cruise control to disengage.

Cylinder Deactivation Cycle - Counts This parameter displays the number of times the engine switches between V8 mode, and V4 mode during each ignition cycle. The counter will reset to zero and increment again, if the count reaches 255 during the current ignition cycle.

Cylinder Deactivation System Command - Active This parameter displays V8 when all four Active Fuel Management (AFM) cylinder solenoids are deactivated or V4 when the AFM cylinder solenoids are activated.

Distance with Cylinder Deactivated - Km This parameter displays the distance accumulated since an cylinder was deactivated. The scan tool will display increasing distance as the vehicle is driven.
Distance with Cylinder Activated - Km This parameter displays the distance accumulated since an cylinder was activated. The scan tool will display increasing distance as the vehicle is driven.
EC Ignition Relay Circuit Status - Okay This parameter displays the status of the output driver for the EC Ignition Relay control circuit. The scan tool will display Okay, Incomplete and Failed. The scan tool will display Okay if the circuit is operating correctly. The scan tool will display a Fault if there is an open, short to ground, or a short to voltage on the circuit.

EC Ignition Relay Command - On This parameter displays the commanded state of the EC Ignition relay control circuit. The scan tool will display ON or OFF. ON indicates the EC ignition relay control circuit is being grounded by the control module, allowing voltage to other control module circuits and systems. OFF indicates the EC ignition relay is not being commanded on by the control module.

EC Ignition Relay Feedback Signal - Volts This parameter displays the voltage available at the EC ignition relay pin of the engine control module.
ECM in VTD Fail Enable - Yes The scan tool displays Yes or No. The scan tool displays Yes if the body control module (BCM) and the Engine control module lose communications with each other after the BCM sends the correct password. The scan tool displays No if the BCM is communicating the correct password to the ECM.

ECT Sensor - °C This parameter displays the engine coolant temperature as calculated by the engine control module.
Engine Load - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the calculated engine load in percent based on inputs to the engine control module from various engine sensors.
Engine Off Time - hh:mm:ss This parameter displays the time elapsed since the engine was switched off. The scan tool will display the time in hours, minutes and seconds. The engine run time will reset to zero as soon as the engine starts running.
Engine Oil Level Switch (If equipped) - OK This parameter displays the state of the engine oil level switch as determined by the control module. The scan tool will display OK or Low. OK indicates that the engine oil level is not too low for safe operation of the engine. Low indicates the engine oil level is abnormally low and has closed the engine oil level switch.

Engine Oil Life Remaining - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the percent of engine oil life remaining. The controller calculates the engine oil life by monitoring engine load, coolant temperature, and engine speed.
Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Sensor - kPa This parameter displays the engine oil pressure.
Engine Oil Pressure Switch - OK This parameter displays the state of the EOP as determined by the control module. The control module monitors the EOP switch to determine if the EOP is sufficient. The scan tool will display low when the EOP is below a predetermined value.

Engine Oil Temperature - ° C This parameter displays the temperature of the engine oil.
Engine Oil Temperature Calculated - ° C This parameter displays the temperature of the engine oil as calculated by the engine control module.
Engine Run Time - hh:mm:ss This parameter displays the time elapsed since the engine was started. The scan tool will display the time in hours, minutes and seconds. The engine run time will reset to zero as soon as the engine stops running.
Engine Speed - RPM This parameter displays the speed of the crankshaft as calculated by the control module based on inputs from the Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor. The scan tool will display the engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM).
EVAP Fault History - No Fault This parameter displays the result of the evaporative emission (EVAP) system diagnostic as determined by the control module. The scan tool will display various messages, depending on the result of the test.
EVAP Purge Solenoid Circuit Status - Okay This parameter displays the diagnostic state of the output driver for the evaporative emission purge solenoid control circuit as determined by the control module. The scan tool will display OK if the circuit is operating correctly. The scan tool will display the appropriate fault if there is an open, short to ground or a short to voltage on the circuit. The scan tool will display Incomplete if the diagnostic has not completed.

EVAP Purge Solenoid Command (Evaporative Emission) - 0 - 100 % This parameter displays the commanded state of the EVAP purge solenoid control circuit. The scan tool will display 0-100%. A high value indicates the purge solenoid control circuit is being commanded more by the control module, opening the EVAP purge solenoid. A low value indicates the purge solenoid is being commanded on less by the control module.
EVAP Vent Solenoid Circuit Status - Okay This parameter displays the diagnostic state of the output driver for the evaporative emission vent solenoid control circuit as determined by the control module. The scan tool will display OK if the circuit is operating correctly. The scan tool will display the appropriate fault if there is an open, short to ground or a short to voltage on the circuit. The scan tool will display Incomplete if the diagnostic has not completed.

EVAP Vent Solenoid Command - Venting This parameter displays the commanded state of the EVAP vent solenoid control circuit. The scan tool will display venting or not venting. Not venting indicates the purge solenoid control circuit is being commanded ON by the control module, closing the EVAP vent solenoid. Venting indicates the vent solenoid is not being commanded by the control module, allowing the solenoid to remain open.

Ext. Travel BPP Signal - Applied This parameter displays Applied, Released, or Invalid. A state of Applied indicates the brake pedal position sensor has traveled beyond a moderate, extended threshold as determined by the brake sensing module and received over serial data.

FC Circuit Short Ground Test Status - OK This parameter displays the status of the output driver for the fan control relay control circuit. The scan tool will display OK if the circuit is operating correctly or Not Run if a diagnosis has not been made. The scan tool will display Fault if there is a short to ground on the circuit.

Fuel Level Sensor Right Tank - Volts This parameter displays the voltage from the signal produced by the sensor used to monitor the fuel level inside the fuel tank. Total Knock Retard - ° This parameter indicates how much ignition spark timing is being retarded due to all control systems monitored by the engine control module. VTD Fuel Disable Until Ignition Off - On The scan tool will display Yes or No. This parameter indicates if the VTD is disabled until the ignition is turned OFF. The scan tool will display Yes if the ignition is ON and a theft deterrent DTC is present. The scan tool will display off if the system is OK and the theft deterrent system is inactive.

VTD Fuel Enable - Yes This parameter Indicates if the VTD system has received proper information to enable or disable fuel. The scan tool will display Yes or No. The scan tool will display No if the engine control module does not receive the correct password from the BCM. The scan tool will display Yes if the control module receives the correct password from the BCM. If the scan tool is displaying No, the engine will not start.

VTD Password Learned - Yes The scan tool displays Yes/No. This parameter indicates if the engine control module has learnt the theft deterrent password. The scan tool will display Yes if the system has learnt the password. The scan tool will display No if the system has timed out or has not learnt the password.

Warm-ups Since DTC Cleared - Counts This parameter indicates the number of warm-up cycles that have occurred since DTCs were cleared. The scan tool will display a higher counts as more warm-up cycles have occurred since the DTCs were cleared
Warm-ups without Emission Faults - Counts The scan tool displays in counts. This parameter counts the number of warm-up cycles without an emission fault present. The parameter increments until a fault occurs. If a fault occurs, the counter reverts to 0 until the fault is corrected. Clearing information with a scan tool or a loss of power to the ECM also resets the counter to 0.
Warm-ups without Non-Emission Faults - Counts The scan tool displays in counts. This parameter counts the number of warm-up cycles without a non-emission fault present. The parameter increments until a fault occurs. If a fault occurs, the counter reverts to 0 until the fault is corrected. Clearing information with a scan tool or a loss of power to the ECM also resets the counter to 0.
Wide Open Throttle - Yes This parameter indicates the throttle status commanded by the engine control module. The scan tool will display Yes is the vehicle throttle is commanded to wide open. The scan tool will display No if the vehicle throttle is commanded to an amount less than 100 percent.

A/C Relay Special Functions The scan tool commands the air conditioning ON or OFF. ON indicates the A/C control circuit is being grounded by the control module, allowing PWM signal to the A/C compressor. OFF indicates the A/C is not being commanded on by the control module.

Cylinder Deactivation System Cylinder Deactivation The scan tool energizes or de-energizes all 4 VLOM solenoids for V4 or V8 mode.

Fan Relay 1 Engine Output Controls The scan tool displays a commanded state of OFF or ON. This allows you to communicate with the ECM and activate or deactivate the cooling fan 1 relay, manually turning both low speed fans ON and OFF.
Fan Relay 2 and 3 Engine Output Controls The scan tool displays a commanded state of OFF or ON. This allows you to activate or deactivate the cooling fan series/parallel relay and the cooling fan 2 relay. The RH cooling fan 2 turns ON and OFF in high speed.
Fan Relay 1, 2 and 3 Engine Output Controls The scan tool displays a commanded state of OFF or ON. This allows you to activate or deactivate all of the cooling fan relays. Both cooling fans turn ON and OFF in high speed.
Fuel Pump Relay Command Engine Output Controls/Fuel Pump The scan tool Activates the fuel pump relay for 2 seconds. Also turns fuel pump ON and OFF while engine is running.
GEN L-Terminal Engine Output Controls The scan tools commanded states are ON or OFF. Selecting OFF commands the ECM to turn OFF the generator and stop generating an output voltage.
HO2S Bank 1 Sensor 1 Heater Engine Output Controls/Heated Oxygen Sensors The scan tool commands the HO2S heater ON, 0-100 percent in 10 percent increments while the engine is running.

Idle Spark Engine Output Controls/Spark Control The scan tool disables and enables idle spark advance with the engine running.
Loop Status Engine Output Controls The scan tool controls the system loop status. The commanded states include None, Open, or Closed. The normal commanded state is None. When commanded Open or Closed, the system remains in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool.
Malfunction Indicator Lamp Engine Output Controls The scan tool activates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). The commanded states include ON and OFF. The normal state is NONE. The MIL will remain illuminated until cancelled by the scan tool.
Oil Life Reset Oil Life Reset The engine oil remaining life is determined from an algorithm based upon the effective engine revolutions and the distance driven since the last oil change. This output control may be used to reset the engine oil remaining life.
Spark Retard Engine Output Controls/Spark Control The scan tool will command an increase or decrease in the amount of spark retard in 1 degree increments, within a range of 1-10 degrees. The degrees of spark retard will remain in the commanded state until cancelled by the scan tool. The normal commanded states is NONE.
Starter Relay Engine Output Controls This output control is used to override the state of the Starter Relay output. Fuel and spark are disabled to prevent the engine from starting if the starter relay output is commanded ON.
