ABS Data Definitions

The Data Display function contains lists of ABS data parameters. A brief description of all ABS data parameters available on the scan tool are listed below. The list is arranged in alphabetical order.

ABS Pump Motor: This display indicates the state of the ABS pump motor.
Brake Switch: This parameter indicates the state of the brake switch.
Deceleration Sensor (TCS Equipped): The scan tool displays -1.2 to +1.2 g.
Deceleration Sensor (AWD only): This parameter indicates the state of the deceleration sensor.
Engine RPM: The scan tool displays 0-9,999 RPM. The crankshaft rotation speed.
Ignition Voltage: This parameter indicates the ignition positive voltage at the electronic brake control module (EBCM).
Left Front Wheel Speed: Display shows actual wheel speed of the left front wheel.
Left Rear Wheel Speed: Display shows actual wheel speed of the left rear wheel.
LF Hold Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the left front hold solenoid valve.
LF Release Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the left front release solenoid valve.
LF Wheel Speed: This display indicates the state of the left front wheel speed circuit.
LR Hold Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the left rear hold solenoid valve.
LR Release Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the left rear release solenoid valve.
LR Wheel Speed: This display indicates the state of the left rear wheel speed circuit.
RF Hold Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the right front hold solenoid valve.
RF Release Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the right front release solenoid valve.
RF Wheel Speed: This display indicates the state of the right front wheel speed circuit.
Right Front Wheel Speed: Display shows actual wheel speed of the right front wheel.
Right Rear Wheel Speed: Display shows actual wheel speed of the right rear wheel.
RR Hold Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the right rear hold solenoid valve.
RR Release Solenoid: This display indicates the state of the right rear release solenoid valve.
RR Wheel Speed: This display indicates the state of the right rear wheel speed circuit.
Steering Position Sensor: The scan tool displays the angle that the steering wheel is turned in degrees.
Steering Position Sensor: This display indicates the state of the steering position sensor circuit.
TCS Switch: This parameter indicates the actual state of the traction control system (TCS) switch.
Throttle Angle: The scan tool displays the percentage of the throttle angle.
Valve Relay State: This parameter indicates the actual state of the solenoid valve relay.
Vehicle Speed: Display shows actual vehicle speed.
Yaw Rate Sensor: The scan tool displays °/second. The yaw rate of the yaw rate signal.
Yaw Rate Sensor: This display indicates the state of the yaw rate sensor circuit.
