Removal Procedure

Remove the HVAC control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement .

IMPORTANT: Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.

Using a taped flat-bladed tool, disengage the clip and disconnect the mode control cable from the HVAC module assembly.
Remove the mode control cable from the vehicle.
