TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

Under the following conditions, perform the appropriate procedure:

Register the sensor IDs when replacing any of the sensors and/or the control module, or rotating the tires. See TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR LEARN .
When tire pressures are adjusted, the TPMS will need to be initialized. See TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR INITIALIZATION .
NOTE: If new sensors are installed, they will need to be initialized AFTER the learn procedure has been completed.

NOTE:

When the tire pressure warning light illuminates, immediately check air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Reinitialize TMPS. Ensure warning indicators go out.
