Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the BPMV assembly (1) into the mounting bracket. Secure with two nuts (2) and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
  2. Remove the plugs from the brake pipes and connect the brake pipes to the BPMV assembly (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  4. Connect the EBCM connector (1).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  6. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
  7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
  8. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
