Installation Procedure

  1. Apply oil to 2 new O-rings and then install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

  2. Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
  3. Install the fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Pump and Fuel Filter Assembly Replacement 
  4. Install the fuel sender gage assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
  5. Install the fuel suction tube assembly.
  6. Install the fuel pump gage retainer.
  7. Connect the fuel tank vent hose.)
  8. Connect the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly.
    9. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning
  9. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
  10. Inspect for a fuel leak.
  11. Install the rear floor service hole cover.
  12. Install the rear seat cushion assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
