Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Installing Fuel Sender Gage Assembly By Sliding It Downward

  1. Install the fuel sender gage assembly.
  2. Install the fuel sender gage assembly by sliding it downward.
    3. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the fuel sender gauge arm does not bend.
  3. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gage assembly.
  4. Install the fuel suction tube assembly.
  5. Install the fuel pump gage retainer.
  6. Connect the fuel tank vent hose.
  7. Connect the fuel tank main tube sub-assembly.
    8. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning
  8. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
  9. Inspect for a fuel leak.
  10. Install the rear floor service hole cover.
  11. Install the rear seat cushion assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
