Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, install the 4 spark plugs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the plugs to 20N.m (15 lb ft).

    IMPORTANT: When installing each ignition coil, do not damage the plug cap on the engine head cover opening or the upper edge of the spark plug tube.
  2. Install the 4 ignition coils with the 4 bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9.0N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the 4 ignition coil connectors.
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
