Installation Procedure

NOTE: Rotate the pigtail 90 degrees from vertical before securing the fastener.

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the KS.
  2. Install the KS bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the KS electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LE5) .
  5. Install the KS electrical connector clip to the oil level indicator tube bracket.
