Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Exploded View Of Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor & Gasket

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor (1) through a new gasket (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (14 lb ft).

  2. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (1).
  3. Install the air cleaner case.
  4. Install the air cleaner cap with hose.
  5. Add engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Inspect for coolant leak.
  7. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
