Adjustable Spring Struts (Model 968 - CS M 030)

NOTE: Adjustments are taken with reference to the tire contact area. Adjustment may not be required, check before making adjustments.

Adjustments are made by loosening the lock nut and turning the spring cup to adjust ride height. Spring cups are adjusted using a hook wrench or Special Tool (VW 637/2). See Fig 1 .

CAUTION: If not using wheel load balance scales to adjust ride height, adjustments to spring struts must be within 1 mm of each other to ensure that wheel loads are within range.
