Steering-angle sensor:
- Switch on ignition.
- Internal PSM control module function test
- Steering-angle sensor initialized (the battery must not be disconnected again, otherwise the sensor will have to be re-initialized)
- Running gear set according to Porsche specifications
- Wheels in straight-ahead position and steering wheel horizontal
- Steering wheel may deviate by max. '± 2.0°' from the horizontal position for driving straight ahead.
After successful calibration, the stored fault code is erased from the fault memory.

The procedure for calibrating the steering-angle sensor is the same for the other sensors.
