Possible fault cause
- Open circuit in the signal wire between DME control module (connector B, pin 102) and bar ignition module (pin 4)
- Short circuit to B+ in signal wire
- Short circuit to ground in signal wire
- Short circuit to B+ in ground wire of the ignition bar module (pin 1)
- Open circuit in ground wire of the ignition bar module (pin 1)
- Open circuit in power supply line of the ignition bar module (pin 3)
- Short circuit to ground in power supply line of the ignition bar module (pin 3)
- Fuse FE07, fuse carrier in E-box, radiator tank faulty (leads to a cutoff in an entire cylinder bank)
- Incorrect allocation of the ground wire and positive lead on the ignition bar module (pins 1 and 3)
- Safety cutoff in the ignition bar module (long ignition pulse implausible)
- Ignition bar module faulty
- DME control module faulty
